New to 8apps
Application, Productivity, Web August 1st, 2007A couple of weeks ago I began to use a fairly new service called 8apps. After several minutes I found my way to an application that they call Orchestrate. Moments later I was in Safari’s preferences changing my home page.
Orchestrate is beautiful, simple, and more importantly, incredibility useful. So, what is it you ask? Orchestrate is a task management tool which you can add tasks, check them off as you go, and even share with people via another 8apps tool called Handshake. Thus far, Orchestrate is the only application I have gotten into and found primarily useful. Of course, this could change as they unveil more of the plans for 8apps.
Personally, I have four categories setup to manage the things I need to get done. I have a Life, School, Blog, and Work list. In my Life section I keep random things, errands and such that I have to get done; the day to day things. School is pretty self explanatory, I keep up with my assignments and important due dates. In the Blog list I store ideas for future posts and other things that need accomplished on the web. Rounding off my task lists is my work schedule and reminders of things that I will need to do involving work.
8apps is currently invite only, if you are intrigued and would like to check it out let me know down there in the comments section and I will be sure to send one your way.
