Today my two 1GB sticks of RAM arrived (Macbooks require both RAM docks to be filled with matching capacity). I found a great deal on Amazon and figured, why not? I had grown very tired of watching the beach ball and with Leopard’s new feature, Spaces, I have begun to multitask even more.

After the installation, which, for those of you who do not know, is super easy and takes less than 5 minutes (all you need is a coin and a small screw-driver), I fired up the machine and instantly noticed great improvement. As I am continuing to use the machine into tonight I am noticing simple tasks getting great speed boosts. It is so nice but at the same time, this is as fast as my poor Intel Core Duo Macbook will ever get.
