Everyone loves web apps but not everyone loves going into their browser to use them. For those people there is Fluid. Fluid is very similar to the latest iPhone update (1.1.3) only for your Mac. Fluid allows you to add a web app as an application, assign it an icon, and even place it in your dock. It becomes very useful I would image when working in Google Docs all day. This is also perfect for those of you who do not want to fork over the money or don’t have the needs for for an application like Mailplane.

A Flickr group has been started that is populated with icons for sites. Some of them look pretty good!

Fluid is still in beta and only works with Mac OS X Leopard. You can download it here.
