iPhone: Voicemail Away Message
Visual voicemail was one of the features that Apple pushed heavily on when the iPhone was released. However, there was a feature I wanted to be included in the iPhone regarding voicemail.
Wouldn’t it be great if there were the ability to record several ‘greetings’ so that they may be used as ‘away messages.’
Example: If I had a meeting at 4 and knew that there were a few calls I was waiting on, I could quickly record a short message notifying those who called during the meeting that I would be unavailable until 4 and that they should leave their message and let me know if they would like me to return their call.
